Our goal at Lakewood Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is to offer the highest level of expertise and personal touch for all of your orthopaedic athletic needs.  We understand the interest of the athlete and the coach and it is our intent to have the athlete playing as soon after an injury as possible.  Dr. Gemas is a former college football player.  The office staff also includes a seasoned athletic trainer, Dave Burton, with experience in the professional ranks, middle school and high school athletics.  We are truly a sports medicine team.

Our office can offer the following services to your organization in an effort to enhance the athletic experience of your student-athletes:

·         In-office evaluation and consultation for injuries

·         After-hours injury evaluation

·         24-hour turn around on x-rays and MRI’s

·         Rehab prescription

·         On-site evaluation and consultation for injuries

·         Athletic training services on-site for practices or events

·         Assistance with staff in-service for health and safety issues

·         Presentations for your parent meetings, booster clubs, PTA’s, etc.

·         Assistance with medical care for special events within your organization
