Coaching Staff

Rich Trevino Owner Head team coach Rich began his career with competitive gymnastics in 1971 as a high school gymnast and moved on to compete for the University of Arizona. In 1978 Rich accepted the position as Head Coach for the University of Texas El Paso's Gymnastics Program. During his 5 years coaching at UTEP, Rich completed his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Durning the summer of 1983, Rich and Marilyn worked as master staff for Karolyi's Gymnastics camp and married shortly after. In 1984 they opened Trevino's Gymnastics School. They have two children, Richard and Katelyn who have also excelled in the sport of gymnastics.
Marilyn Trevino Owner-Team Coach Choreographer Marilyn began with 16 years of classical ballet training and moved on to competitive gymnastics through high school. She owned and operated her own gymnastics school in Tennessee. Rich and Marilyn worked together as master staff members at Karolyi's Gymnastics Camp during 1982 and soon after married. In 1984, they opened Trevino's Gymnastics School in Lancaster.
Judy Fricke Team Coordinator Judy handles all team accounts and is the co-meet director for all competitions at Trevino's. Her system for processing team accounts has been widely recognized and adopted by many gyms in Texas. Her ability to organize and run meets has helped to give Trevino’s Gymnastics a state wide reputation as one of the best meet sites in Texas!
